In 2024, the university saw a significant decrease in funding contributions. In particular, contributions from the MUR decreased. The Ministry reduced the FFO, across the whole university system, by EUR 173 million. Overall, compared to the previous year, the university recorded a decrease in contributions from the MUR of EUR 2.2 million (of which 1.2 million attributable to FFO – component excluded in the graph). The reduction in contributions was offset by an increase in UniTS's own income.
