Students in international mobility schemes (incoming and outgoing)-ST72

  • Students' international mobility

The International Mobility Office is in charge of exchange programmes at a European and international level, supporting UniTS students who wish to complete a study period or traineeship abroad. It also welcomes international students who arrive in Trieste as part of exchange programmes and supports them throughout their stay.
Further information on the services offered ('Erasmus+ programme for Europe and other international programmes for the rest of the world) can be found at https://sites.units.it/internationalia/en/altmobil-out/.

The graph below shows the incoming and outgoing mobility of students to and from different European and non-European countries.
In 2023-24, the University continued its commitment to promoting international mobility, encouraging both incoming and outgoing mobility. The number of outgoing students is higher than the number of incoming students, a sign of an increasing interest in training experiences abroad. The incoming students come mainly from European countries, with some attendance also from non-European areas such as Japan, attesting to a wide and consolidated network of academic collaborations. Mobility remains a strategic element in building an open and dynamic university environment.
