The installation of microfiltered water refill stations has continued over the years, reaching 30 units in 2024, compared to 27 in 2023 and 17 in 2022. The initiative Acqua di Rete in Ateneo (mains water UniTS) was completed in 2022. This initiative has been integrated with a similar initiative of the Municipality of Trieste which installed a still/sparkling water refill station near Piazzale Europa Campus within the framework of a project funded by the FVG Region.
