Here are presented research projects funded on competitive calls under international programmes: EU European funds (direct and indirect), non-EU European funds, and funds from other foreign sources. The overall figure on funding obtained marks a peak in 2017, coinciding with the running  of the 2014-2020 programming, then a decline; at the end of the programming, there are almost always higher rates of funding due to the need for funders to exhaust the programming resources. The 2021 figure (which may already be affected by the effect of the new 2021-2027 programming) is also declining, probably due to the pandemic effect.
