Ever since the application of Ministerial Decree 509/1999, and then more emphatically with the transition to Ministerial Decree 270/2004, it has become necessary to establish a continuous relationship with the working environment, both to communicate the aims of the proposed training offer and to establish an effective collaboration in the identification of knowledge, skills and professionalism to be attained with a degree and degree courses so that they can be spendable at work.

The need to take into account the demand for training and the needs of stakeholders in the design of a new course of study and its periodic review has been taken up among the elements for the evaluation of courses of study by the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research (ANVUR). In particular, the Course of Study must ensure the creation of a place of reflection, consistent with the outgoing cultural profiles, which reflect, deepen and provide elements regarding the actual employment potential of graduates. In the FP Guidelines for Stakeholder Consultation and for the Establishment and Operation of Steering Committees, the latter are indicated as the best practice to be adopted to ensure a stable relationship with the world of production and services. The University's objective is therefore to stimulate courses of study to adopt this mode of consultation. As can be seen from the graph, the number of study courses with a steering committee is 36 in 2020/21 out of a total of 65 activated study courses, a slight increase compared to 2020/21.
