In contrast to the national figures, the ratio between technical and administrative staff (PTA) and teaching staff is changing. While in 2023 the University of Trieste was in line with the national ratio, in 2024 the ratio changed with the hiring of new technical and administrative staff and a reduction of the number of teaching staff.
