The amount of the Accessory Fund is determined on the basis of stringent contractual and regulatory constraints. Its amount has been subjected, for more than a decade, to a statutory ceiling that cannot be exceeded through the allocation of its own budget resources. The University has always opted to set up the Fund in the maximum possible amount. In fact, the Accessory Fund is used to pay off positions of responsibility, risky or inconvenient work, the monthly accessory allowance, and individual and collective productivity.
