The data presented refer to the training activities of technical-administrative, managerial and CEL personnel, including both initiatives organised 'in house' and individual courses acquired externally.
The University, taking up the challenge launched by the Ministry of Universities (Ministero dell'Università), as part of the three-year programme, has gradually increased the economic resources allocated to this area, setting itself specific targets for improvement, both in the number of courses and hours of training provided and in the number of staff units involved in training initiatives.
In the year 2020, due to the epidemiological emergency, the necessary transformation of the training delivery modality from face-to-face to distance mode took place, making it impossible to carry out ordinary training missions.
The training plan, therefore, had to undergo a radical redesign, to be made usable at a distance by staff working remotely.
This issue did not, however, imply any changes in the budget, since the expansion of distance training activities, also through the purchase of qualitatively and quantitatively significant packages, entailed costs in line with the budget approved for 2020 and allowed for the multiplication of the number of both courses offered and personnel trained. In 2021, the situation does not change significantly compared to 2020.
