Health and safety protection is a crucial aspect for the university. In 2021, both online and in-presence safety training for university staff and students continued. To accommodate foreign researchers and doctoral students, training was made available in English.
In 2021, in order to cope with the COVID-19 emergency, action was taken to improve disinfection and air quality in the buildings, and the situation was monitored with monthly meetings between the Rector, Department Directors and Delegates. In 2021/22, work was done on the new Safety Regulations to be implemented as the Health and Safety Management System, which has been approved by the Academic Bodies in 2022 and is now being implemented.
