The educational backgrounds of newly enrolled students have remained almost unchanged: one in three students comes from a scientific high school, one in five students comes from a technical institute. 10% of newly enrolled students come from a linguistic high school and a similar percentage come from primary teacher training institutes. 9% of newly enrolled students come from a humanities high school and 9% from vocational institutes.
