The installation of microfiltered water refill stations has continued over the years, reaching 27 units in 2023, compared to 17 in 2022 and 9 in 2021. The initiative Acqua di Rete in Ateneo (mains water at UniTS) was completed in 2022. This initiative has been integrated with a similar initiative of the Municipality of Trieste which installed a still/sparkling water refill station near Piazzale Europa Campus within the framework of a project funded by the FVG Region.
