International reasearch projects-RU52

  • International research activities

The indicator considers the value of research grants acquired in the calendar year on international projects. Both the number and overall value of projects have grown significantly.

In 2024, the University maintained a good level of international planning, re-organising its funding sources from the previous year. There has been a sharp increase in funding from international private entities (EUR 3.76M) and the INTERREG programme (EUR 2.38M), while funds from the Framework Programmes and the European Commission have been reduced. This dynamic shows a capacity for diversification of sources and an increasing openness toward public-private partnerships and cross-border territorial projects.
