- Energy consumption
In 2023, the University joined the CONSIP SIE 4 (Integrated Energy Service) agreement, which includes the installation of photovoltaic panels for the production of sustainable energy, the modernisation of thermal power plants to ensure greater energy efficiency, and the installation of refrigeration units to improve the comfort and functionality of structures. These actions, which began in 2024, constitute a significant commitment and will continue throughout 2025, consolidating the University's approach toward sustainability and technological innovation. In addition to the activities governed by the Consip contracts, several projects were managed under the supervision or direct management of all university facilities. The most important work includes the installation of electrical outlets in different classrooms to meet developing educational needs, the installation of a refrigerated unit on the first floor, left wing, of Building F, and the improvement of thermal comfort through the installation and relocation of different split-type air conditioners in classrooms and studios of several buildings. Overall, energy consumption has increased by 6% compared to 2023. The installation of solar panels, also planned for Building D, will soon reduce emissions, even as consumption increases.
