As in previous years, in 2020/21, the majority of first-degree graduates continue their studies by enrolling on a Master’s degree at the University. There are, however, significant differences between degree courses in different departments. The highest continuation rate – 75% - is seen in the Department of Mathematics and Geosciences. There could be many reasons for this continuation rate. Some graduates prefer not to continue their studies in order to start work immediately. Others prefer to move to a different university in Italy or abroad.
However, it is interesting to note that more than half of those enrolled are from other universities, either Italian or foreign.
